Turbo questions
Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone is lurking anymore. I have a greddy TT kit with 18g housing that the old owner says are now 20G, how can I confirm this? I pulled them due to an oil leak, I want to upgrade them. James suggested these: https://store.kinugawaturbosystems.c...wrx-08-bolt-on
Are there any other options ?
Also, Im considering getting them ceramic or jet hot coated while they are out, thoughts on this?

I answered my own question figured id share in case anyone is interested. This is the chra you need for the 20g turbos : https://store.kinugawaturbosystems.c...43793920196862
The compressor wheel inducer measurement, 18G is 50.3mm, 20G is 52.3mm

I was impressed with the Kinugawa brand and ran them as hard as I could. Most (documented) power I’ve made on the car was with those turbos. When I sold the TT kit (to go single) the CHRAs were in great shape, no bearing/shaft play, the impeller/turbine looked good and at $500 each it was 25% of the cost of the replacement mitsubishi 18g CHRAs.

nice, thats good feedback. I went with the billet 6+6 for faster spool and 10 blade sts 55 turbine for top end power. Im going to have it re tuned so it will be interesting to see how they compare to the greddy 20G, hopefully it was worth it. The greddy turbos were in perfect shape but I figured what the hell. Gonna have the housing sent off for jet hot coat as well as down pipes.
