Default Electro-fi?

i saw this ad on turbo mag, i think its called ESC™ Electric Supercharger. It works sorta like nos, only that its in super charger form. You simply bolt it on, it runs on its own energy -no belts- and at the press of a button a surge of electricity powers the blower, i think it gives out something like 75 hp. Im not exactly sure about this thing, but heres the site "http://www.boosthead.com/home.php"

i just want to know your guyses opinions on this thing, imo i think it sounds pretty cool, but then again i dont know much about this stuff .

ya and it cost like $3,000 dollars, why not just spend a tad more and get the real thing or even better get Nitrous and save a ton of money.

Ummm, no. You still have to figure out how you're going to get the extra fuel to the car. 75HP worth of air with no fuel is going to blow your engine.

Oh and about the nitrous shot. To get 75HP you need a 75HP shot of nitrous.

I saw some tests of these a year or so ago. It seemed that the drag from having to generate the power to run it didn't make it worth it.

I remember a little I read on this thing...Seems you have to run an extra battery and fuel injector.....not sure how it was managed though...It did say that it was only good for about 15 seconds at a time

No such thing as free power, how much alternator drain does that thing make? I imagine your ignition goes kaput once that turns on.

its not connected to the alternator, it has own power source. the bad thing about that though is that u have to buy special batteries for it, i forgot that they were called though... its on the same site.
