I think everyone has made good points about both kits but in the long run I have yet to see a dyno on the pe kit with a relative psi as greddy. Greddy kits are now running 400-430rwhp on 8psi. Those are solid good numbers. I have yet to see the pe kits put out any numbers. I wish someone would run the pe kit on a dyno and display some numbers. The one thing I do believe is that as people start boosting higher the greddy kits will start to shine over the pe kit. As for the pe spooling faster, TS did an ecu upgrade as we know for my greddy kit and it would of ran rich in the mid rpm if it did not spool up as quick but it doesn't and I feel no lag on my kit.

maybe a dyno with the graphs as well so we can compare rpms and power?

Here is a dyno of my Greddy TT at 6psi. Ignore the A/F chart...their probe was doing so weird things. My AEM Wideband showed me at 11.5:1 at redline.

After talking to Cheston yesterday, it seems like the PE and Greddy kits are making comparable amounts of HP at the same boost levels. But I havent examined the area under the curve...sometimes that is more telling than peak numbers.

Gq model that is an impressive torque curve!!!! When you up the boost to 8 or 9 does the torque stay pretty much flat like it is at 6psi?

Something else to consider ...

I have the PE 1420's on my Z32 and I would not buy them again due to the poorly designed wastegate actuators. While this may not be an issue since you guys are only boosting up to 8-9psi, I can tell you that at high boost levels (20-24) the PE wastegate actuators have serious issues caused by the locking nut design. Literally every person I know of with these turbos is having this problem.

Also, the PE manifolds are very well made, but they will crack as almost all log style SS manifolds do. Although using a section of flex pipe where the DP and TP meet will probably help, it will crack eventually. GReddy made a similar style for the Z32 that always cracks and I would guess that is why they went with the cast design on the Z33. Another (custom/$$$) option is to have a set made out of Inconel which has virtually no expansion at turbo exhaust temps. I paid $1850 for a set of Inconel exhaust manifolds.

I'm going to wait and see what JWT adds to the mix but right now I'm leaning towards the GReddy kit just for the casr manifolds. I'm doing a fully built short block though so I'll probably end up with a hybrid setup since I'm not in love with the TD05's, the RC injectors and the e-manage in the GReddy kit.

What I'd like to see would be GReddy cast manifolds, JWT BB 700 turbos (disco potato's), JWT ECU, PE injectors and oil pan.

My $0.02

Its always strange seeing a dyno from an NA motor with turbos on it because the higher compression creates that flat torque curve. Ive heard its a blast to drive a car like that, nfortunately I'll never know because I'm shooting for 20+psi

Default manifolds

The JWT manifolds are suppose to be cast as well.

Thats good to hear, although it doesnt suprise me considering how knowledgeable JWT is with the Z32 market and the cracking of stainless manifolds.

With increased boost, the torque curve will look flattish as well...just higher up on the band! Peak torque of 400 is very acheivable.

As stated, one benift of boosting a higher compression motor is the solid amount of torque at the lower RPM band. In theory, this means there is almost no turbo lag on either of these kits....and if there is...you can't feel it...becuase the natural torque of the motor is so impressive.
