Default Fuel cut problem w/ Vortech...help!

Ok, so i was driving today on the highway i saw that there were no cars so i decided to play around a bit. So i punched it in 3rd gear and when it went to about 4500 rpm, the engine stopped like it hit fuel cut. I decided to do it again in 4th gear, and at about 4500 rpm, it did it again. I dont know what the problem is. this happened before when i first installed it, but it happened because the wire that went to the power in the ecu was loose, so we soldered all the wires together. I dont think it could be that again. could it??? So now i am at home trying to figure out what went wrong...any ideas????
thanks in advance!

It sounds like the aux pump is not coming on.

Have you uploaded any changes from your laptop to the SS box? If not then it's likely a wiring or MAF problem. Or perhaps the vacuum line on the FMU has come out.

I would attempt to connect to the SS box via a laptop and do a recording to see what it is seeing at various RPMs.

Is it possible for it to start happening just now? seems like an aux pump is a problem that i would have when i first installed it? anyway, i have not changed anything in the ss box since i got it tuned 3 weeks ago, but i havent checked on the vacuum lines yet...ill check everything and keep you posted, meanwhile, any more ideas???

Thanks

the fuse is fine, i am going to replace all the vacuum lines with fuel lines in the morning, i remember someone posting something about that because the lines that come with the vortech are real flimsy and can work their way loose...hopefully i will find the leak....

I bought the screw type fuel injection hose clamps and put wire ties on all the vacuum hoses. I wouldnt use the clamps that came with the kit..
