pm dwnshift, his company schuitemaker motorsports builds racecars, so im sure they could handle a vortech install.

Dont check out street sprots!!

In Cinni call Pauls automotive Eng. They mostly work on mustangs. I have a ATI supercharger on my Z. I took my car there too tune it on the dyno. There were at least 10-20 cars with F/I. As for my install I did this myself.

faris13,

Yes I think for a source for parts they are very good. As for the install yes they should be able. Hell I put my ati kit in my self. that shows any one can do it. I am from lex. area have spent some time in there store. From a tunning portion of the install they do not have dyno or any why to tune your car. You will need to take it some where else to get that done. A guy I work with talked to a vortech z, he said his kit was installed by street sports and said never get any work done there. I think they talk a big game but do not have the ability. Good luck we need to get together for some spirited driving. I am in no way trying to trash there shop.

zfast13.8 is correct they don't have a dyno so, I don't know how they do the tuning for FI applications. I know there is another shop in town that builds race cars that has a dyno they may have an arrangment with them. I've just had my Z about 4 months so, I've been doing allot of research and came across their site.

StSprts started doing a cruise-in at the Parkette restraurant on thursday nights. A buddy an I stopped by last night to chat with them. I don't know their skill level but, they are definately enthusiastic, love Z's and seemed knowledgeable. I was just excited there was any kind of tuner shop in town.

The cruise-in was actually allot of fun. I expected it to be lame but, we got there a 8:30 and stayed until the restraurant closed.

There were serveral honda's and a few Z's representing, a SS with the full crawford package, grounding wires, pulley's, nismo cai, forgot the exhaust maybe nismo and nismo cams on order.....sweetness.

The owner of StSprts has a SS dropped(forget the springs) with vr challengers on toyos, jic strut, y-pipe, and some cai (jic(?) maybe forget which one). He seemed cool but, will talk your ear off. He didn't know a couple of things that I expected him to know but, overall knowledgable.

There also was a very cool RL(very cool guy) there with t37's 8.5f/10.5r on toyo's 235/35/19 f, 295/35/19 r with 22mm offset, invada exhaust very cool audio/video stuff, tinted, misc other stuff.....total sweetness. By the way he said that he was getting the greddy tt installed by StrSprts next week so, he'll probably be at the cruise-in next thursday.

There was also a blk 93 300z t-top that was just purchased and he was beginning to mod(He works at StrSprts). I think he was doing audio/video first. Very sweet I use to drool over that car when it first came out.

Then there was my bone stock except for nismo cai 03 db touring. Bought the cai before I new what I was doing. It's not the worst thing but, I paid to much and would have gone with the JWT popcharger instead. I don't have allot of money for mods right now but, plan on doing the cat's, plenum, crank pully and grounding this year. Probably going with crawford for cat's/plenum pkg. Not excited about the strut bar thing but, don't trust kinetic.....I may check into the aps plenum.

Street Sports may not have a dyno (yet), but they do have an arrangement with a local facility. No matter where you go, you'll have some satisfied customers and a few who aren't. I think that every shop has its niche and if you shop around, you'll find that one shop is great for one thing, whereas another shop has the capabilities to do what shop A can't. If you want to check on the shop's potential, just see how long they've been in business . . . You surely can't run a business without any satisfied customers, right?

I bought all my bolt-ons at horsepower house (www.horsepowerhouse.com) . . . They have a 20000sqft facility with a spray booth & mustang AWD dyno. There's a few more shops in town that I'm not familiar with, but all in all, every shop has its own niche

I think Injected Performane is located in Lexington, KY area. They are the forum sponser in this site and vendor. I ordered some parts for Lexus IS300 for my friend and was very satisfied. I'm sure they can handle FI installatinos and tuning too. PM InjectedPerf and talk to him. http://www.injectedperformance.com/

If you don't mind the drive to Atlanta we have a satin Vortech kit with less than 1000 miles on it that we are offering for $4600 installed

I got KW Variant 3 fully adjustable coilovers. I installed camber/traction kit and slammed the car on the ground. I think it was about 2.5 inch lower than stock by the time the pic was taken. Along with my V1 CF lip, I was bottoming out EVERYWHERE. I mean EVERYWHERE. So within 24 hours of dropping it, I had to raise it back up about an inch. And I already stuck up with cracked V1 lip. It wasn't that bad tho and fixable.

Hey guys! New to the forum - I'm from southeastern Kentucky and have a 2006 350z Roadster with an ATI Procharger. I'm looking for any place/person to give me some advice on what I should be looking into next to beef it up (exhaust, more boost, etc). Any recommendations?
