Very nice races. Is there anyway you could get some interstate races to see how the two cars differ at higher speeds?

Hey Charlie....I just realized that I was at that SAME spot (right off Eola and Butterfield) later that night when all the slow hondas showed up and starting driving around like morons. My buddy had a run in his DSM with another DSM. I must have missed you by a couple minutes.

Nice runs man...too bad I didn't get to witness the beatings in person.

 

Actually you were probably there before I raced, rather than after. It was like 2:30 am I think when I raced. I came over there around midnight and it will really weak like what you are describing so I left. Later in the night my friend called me to tell me all the Team APC left and that some Supras wanted to race.

 

You should add the ability to launch to your sig. That reminds me of the spot I used to race at behind the CDW building in Waukegan and in Schaumberg. Good kills man.

wow...so they never got busted??? I was sure that the cops were going to show up before the end of the night. I just assumed you ran before because of that.

 

Wow VERY IMPRESSIVE; the displacement of the Z really must help it get off the line quicker!! Finally something that beats Supras, lol!! But we all know the Supra is a highway monster! How do you think the Z will do in the highway or in higher speeds against high horsepower supras??

there are a ton of cars that beat supras. ... ... from a dead stop.

go to supraforums ... check out all the kill stories there. They race from a roll, they know what they are good at (excellent in fact) and stick with it.

I think it is awesome that phunk represented well for us, but I don't think that Z owners can sit here thinking, yeah my Z will beat a Supra now. regardless of base price. The same $$$ of mods in a Supra will almost any day walk a Z after 1/8 miles

How much was a base price on a turbo supra, or even a used one with low miles, then ask phunk how much he paid in all so far on his car.
Some people don't care about how much money is spent on thier cars, its a hobby and yeah some people may have deeper pockets. Then some would say they would never spend that much on a car, so what, I bet they spend that money on something else that makes them happy too.
Anyways, what we are seeing is something that Charles has created in a short time with his Z with his brains and for his passion for the Z. Look at some of the stuff he has posted in the past of the ideas and tricks he came up with to make this car better. It wasn't about spending some money at all, its about having fun .
And no, the same amount of money on a supra can't walk this z because you can't buy Charles knowledge. Oh yeah, and hes just begun Muwahahahah

 

Actually, for a very reasonable price, you can.
