Default beefing up the driveline to handle FI.....

Upgraded clutch is obvious, but how about the differential? Is it necessary to upgrade to something like the Nismo unit? How about the Nismo differential cover with the heat sinks?

Also, with an intercooler blocking air from the radiator, how are people's engine temps running. Is a radiator upgrade needed? How about low temp thermostat?

BTW....planning for HKS supercharger so it won't be a maximally stressed system, but I want to eliminate as many weak links as I can without ripping open the block.

The stock drive train can take anything you can throw at it, with stock internals. I think the highest output with the stock drive train is bldrz with 600hp+.Unless your going to use large slicks I wouldn't worry about it.

You don't need the finned cover unless your going to run it on a road course or run a Cannonball style event.

The only FI cars that have had issues with cooling are automatics with a "loose" converter. They create alot of heat. Some people have gotten the Nismo low temp thermostat but, it dosen't look to be a requirement. Alot of the FI cars are in locations with 100+ deg temps and no problems yet.
