Default 2005 Purchase.........

I am putting a deposit down for a 2005 Auto black on black G35 coupe tomorrow with premium and sports package only, no navi and no aero, for $34,400, is this good? Thanks everyone, I was going to purchase a Z but the premium I am paying here (about $4,000) is worth it. I test drove the G and fell in love with the power and how smooth the ride was compared to the G. Let me know what you guys think.

Vman I just purchased a 2005 350zr, which I love. But after doing some research and actually test driving a 2005G35 the ride was much smoother than my Z. That is to be expected due to the suspension, but I really like the way the G felt.It all depends on what you personal preferences are. If I had to do it all over again I would still get the Z,only because of the convertible top. But if your not going to get the convertible Z, GO GET THAT G35. By the way you, have you seen the M class infiniti. It is very nice. Either way you will be satisfied.

Vman,

Was $34,400 the "out the door" price? If it is, then that's one heck of a deal.

Yeah, when I drove the G, I really liked how smooth it was compared to the Z, but the Z was faster, of course.

Unfortunately is was not out the door, I did manage to have them throw in a free XM radio with the car. As for the smooth ride, it was a worlds apart from the Z. Yes the Z is faster, but I think the G gets me where I want to go quick enough. I guess if I wanted to go faster I would have just bought a Suburu STi (oye). But I will try to post pcs ASAP, but the car has to go in the shop to get the Sirius radio installed. Was 34,400 still a decent deal?

I would say so. Edmunds show $34,383 is invoice price with the options that you have including the XM. So you got it pretty much at invoice price.
