$500 over invoice possible ?

$500 over invoice possible ?
Whats up all?
My buddy is looking to buy a 2005 G35 coupe
he lives in Southern California
the best price he was able to get was $1,000 over invoice.
in the past I have never paid more than 500 bucks over invoice for a new car. I paid a little over that for my Z
the 2 Infiniti Dealers he has gone to so far would not do 500 over invoice.
Do you guys think he can get this price? or is a $1,000 over the going rate and considered a good deal ?
what are others paying over invoice?

Become a member of the Florida G35 Club and Lokey Infiniti in clear water will sell it for $500 over invoice. You can probably have the car delivered to your area.
Edit never mind....you have to be a florida resident.
I would recommend that you go shop on the last day of the month. Quotas to be made if you know what I mean. I got $1000 of the sticker price on the last day of the month and they don't discount shiets in Miami cause of the demand.
