Service manual says to lift and pull foward . Cant get it to release from the hooks . Any help ?

 

coupe or sedan?

if coupe, you just need to yank the seats up.

put your hand near where your thigh would rest and yank up. there's a clip under each seat.

make sure your push the seatbelt holders through the seat.

if that doesn't work, try removing the back rest first. two nuts to unscrew. sorry...i know pics would make it much easier to describe.

 

Thanks...I was pulling straight up...pretty hard...And could feel the hooks or clips.....holding it from releasing . It was to the point that I felt I may break something if I pulled any harder
