Hottest un-sponsored G's

Totally off topic, but you should definately measure your crank and your rods. Don't go by the numbers. My Crank was stamped a 111101 and when the engine builder measured everything I needed all 2s! The stock tolerances seem to be very loose. Also, It took me less then a week to get all my bearings from a Nissan dealership, so ordering them ahead of time really isn't necesarry.
Back to the topic - I am completely unsponsored. I paid for the Procharger and now the APS TT out of my own pocket, as well as everything else.
And, to top it off, my tax lady won't let me write any of it off!!!!
Just becuase you have sponsors doesn't mean you get parts for free. You may get some things for free but most of the time you just get a bit of a discount. I think it is great for those of you w/o sponsors that mod your cars. It is an industry thing and if you are into the shows and want to be a part of that aspect, then you have the opportunity to get sponsors.
Well I now have my first sponsor so I guess I fall out of the unsponsored group. Now that I have one Im going full bore to get more. We'll see how things go, who knows I might be back in the unsponsored group one of these days.
I agree with Ted, and when in town try to participate in the team events that he and Eddie so diligently put together to show off the G. I presently have no sponsorships whatsoever, though if somebody wanted to sport me some track tires in exchange for a sticker, I would seriously consider it. Those babies get expensive when you run through two sets a year.
Haha Eagle1.... I'm working on your sponsor!!!!
And it is true.. sponsors don't mean free, sometimes its discounted $$ up front and rebates when you get media coverage or mention. Other times its also just running the badges at shows. I try this, but they get sneaky and only send me a couple sets of vinyls. In that case I find myself forced to wear the last set until they send me more. Many of my "sponsors" are simply people I know that provide me product for passing out business cards or sending people their way.
For example...I don't have a Griffin Radiator sticker on my car (not a requirement) ... but then thru this post someone says "hook me up"
Many of my sponsors simply me want to get the word out their on their products. BTW.. Griffin is very close to producing the radiator. Mine was an initial beta that works great. GurgenPB also got one. I'll let everyone know what's up when they are ready for production!
As for a "stickered" car, you really don't see mine at first glance...as I request silver vinyls

Cheers, Ted
P.S. My baby just got new shoes (19" Enkei RP03 and Dunlop Direzza DZ101's) , so please excuse the stocker photos.

Hey, thanks Ted. I never put stickers on cars before except for the triple A and college or school stickers to reflect that I was driving a piece of trash instead of a Rolls because of the school bills! OH yes, and the one the local constabulary gives you when you donate a hundred bucks, to buy mercy from when you get pulled over.
I have three on the G coupe. The TT banner across the top of the windscreen. Then two on the left rear quarter window, the first being membership in the SCCA, and the second being a participant in the Skip Barber Race Series.

my car :bows down: to your car!!!
I've spent around $9k, and have a nice all-around package (little bit of performance, little more of looks, NO ICE!) but the game will be stepped up this year when we slap on F/I... but I'm still light years behind people like TINMAN (who gets my vote for hottest G, period! - behind the V35 GT-R by Top Secret, of course)

O.K. So we do have a **** load of un-sponsored G's lurking around here.
It seems that some of us un-sponsored G's are topping the sponsored G's
I guess I'm not that surprized but that's pretty sweet!
Tinman, you're nuts
I can't wait to see your #'s after the build.
Socalted, don't forget that I asked you to "hook me up"
I see your point, I guess you can hang with us. lol You'll be labeled "semi" though.
Those stickers actually look good,so I'll take the sticker coment back.
G354god, Don't let me find out where you park at night cause damn I like those fenders.
You gotta be itchin to build that motor by now.

wow nice ride Tinman, you're the third person I've seen with the ED sideskirts and they look good. I guess our G's have a lot in common
CF hood is gone now but getting the APS TT installed soon...no sponsorship
