I have a G35X Sedan with stock 17" wheels. It almost time for new tires and there aren't too many choices when it comes to the stock tire size of 215/55-17. The stock tires are about one-third of an inch from touching the front struts. I'd like to replace the stock tires with something along the size of 235/50-17 but have concerns about clearance between the tire and struts. Anyone out there who can positively affirm that there will be no clearance issues by going with 235/50-17s (and stock 17" wheels) on the X-sedan?
