Quiet exhaust for G35 Coupe
I'm also interested in this question. I just got a G35 Sedan and would like to add some power to it without all the noise. Last thing I want is a nice Infiniti running down the road sounding like a lawn mower.
You might also look into the HKS Hi-Power for the G. No drone on the hwy. and when taking easy around town it's quiet but noticeably deeper than stock. Mash the throttle getting the revs over 3k and it comes to life with an exotic sound that's really nice.
Plus the quality and look is really befitting the Z and G.

I hear clips of the Weldina Nismo for the G and i like the way it sounds.
fuji is the quietest for sure. yes i have it, along with CAI, y-pipe & cats, and still super quiet (when it is supposed to.) pretty damn loud WOT. i can easily set off many car alarms in mall parking lots when i rev lil hard. (yes, i do it intentionally.) i heard HKS hi power is quiet too. i raced another g35c with HKS with my windows open, neck to neck race, and it had very similar sound. IMO, HKS is little louder than fuji, it looks much cooler, but weigh a lil bit more than fuji.
the real important thing is that fuji doesnt sound ricy. neither does HKS.
if you are really concerned about making your car too loud, you should consider HKS or fuji.

I know the nismo exhuast on the z does not fit the g perfectly. But does any one know if I were to get just the nismo muffler and have a muffler shop custom make me the piping could it fit perfect?
Even after adding an ext. to the nismo, the exhaust tips will still be sitting about 2" back compare to the stock G35 exhaust...the exhaust tip are shorter on the z, do a search on G35driver.com for some pics.
The weldina is the only NISMO exhaust made to fit the G35 w/o any modifaction.

Just add some resonated test pipes and be done with it. It will deepen the exhaust note with no rasp or drone at all. At least it did on my G until I added the y pipe. That's when the rasp and drone came.

Fujitisubo makes the exhaust for Nismo but it not the same exact thing, well the mid pipe and y pipe is but the muffler is a little different. The fujitsubo is a little quieter than the Nismo but it still yet very tasteful and sounds very nice, similar to stock.
