Sorry to see concuthatbu taking this thread in the wrong direction from what it was set out to be. I guess he is hung up on whatever he is driving to come out with comments like that. Isn't the motor and the drivetrain on the G's and Z's for all practical purposes the same Isn't it the motor and the drivetrain that gets you down the lane at the track ....... duh. Clueless comments by concuthatbu

Saw some Chev SS's sedans at the track running that would have eaten him up and spit him out for lunch rollin 10's and 11's...... oh well. Sorry to see him bring his fantesy here.

Keep them G sedans rolling down the lanes..... it's all good.

03silverG-

Nice videos!! BTW, why are you letting the car shift into 4th? It's killing your times. 3rd is good to close to 101mph. I tap the rev limiter in 3rd just as I'm crossing the finish line. A shift into 4th kills your ET a little and sucks out about 1.5mph or so.

At the track, I place the car in MM, but I select "2" so that the car will shift itself on the 1-2. I then hold 2nd to around 6400rpms and tap up which shifts at an indicated 6800rpms or so. Then I just hold 3rd the entire way.
