Default Button in glove box????

Ok this is for my 03" G35 sedan, for which I do not have the owners manual.....

There's this button with a picture of the trunk lid open.... the switch says On/Off....

Whats this for????

And no, it dosent open or unlatch my trunk!

it should prevent the trunk from opening due to the key Fob. Valet lock out, i believe would be the correct tem.

The switch in the glove box locks out the drivers side trunk release switch. So a Valet cannot use the in car switch to open the trunk. It does not lock out the key fob. At least not on an 03.

So did you get that new slead dog to replace the one you hit with mommy's Z???lol!!! Just kidding, you need to relax man.

It's next to the VDC on/off button. On an '04 at least.

Its in the same area as the VDC off button. About where your left knee is. Maybe it's just me but after I got my G I sat in the garage for about two hours figuring out everything.
