Default downshifting in AT

I have noticed that if I'm in D and driving around 60mph that I am only able to downshift to 3rd and not to 2nd when I get into the manual mode. My question is anyone else able to go from 4th gear to 2nd gear at 60 or above?

it's a safety thing....it doesn't want you to blow up the engine..

you should've gotten a 6spd

I havent tried it yet...at that speed . But it lets you down shift to first before you are supose to....and you dont want to do that , it makes a bad studdering noise . But the other downshifts have been fine
