Nope, I drive an 04 fi zr.

 

The ZR is slow in stock form...Not a Z coupe And for the record a stock Z is a fast car. There are really only a couple of cars in its price range(35K or less) that are faster. Let me think:

EVO
STi
05 GT
GTO

Please feel free to add to the list.

 

I wasnt impressed with my z at the track the other night, granted it was the first time I had run it, but it just doesnt feel that fast to me, after losing to a new gti I decided to hang up the keys for the night.

 

Add gti, s2k and srt4
And for the record the zr is only 2 100ths of a second slower(5.6 to 5.8).
You must have a coupe. Sorry, how much larger do you need this list to be. Even the new turbo Solstice and Sky redline are faster. That is a large list. The point is the z is beautiful but not fast. I am assuming you are around 20 and again are clueless!!!!

I am 31. You must suck at driving if an S2000 can take you. GTI?? C'mon man. You are joking right? SRT-4....Slower. So far from what you've named, I do not see the list has grown. Maybe these cars are faster than you, but not faster than the Z.

It all depends on what you mean by "faster"... quarter mile, top end, 0-60, what exactly are we looking for here?

 

Why do people always sleep on the SRT-4 ... I wouldn't personally own one but they will keep with any stock Z.

One night there was a 50's car show in downtown. So me and my friends started driving around. My friend would occasionally yell out the window "what kind of engine you got in there" or "is it like a rock". Then we pulled up to a srt-4 and he was like "that thing got a hemi". Pure hilarity.

Anyways back on topic it's still a neon. It's like seeing the high school dork ten years later all buffed up and trying to act hard. You still remember the pudgy high pitched little annoying fart.

 

Stock Gti's aren't faster than stock z's, unless your talking about a R32 which still is pretty much comparable, not faster, also it costs more.

In its price range only a few are faster. But comparing cars in its class (RWD, coupe) would come down to the 05+ Mustang GT. The GTO is more expensive and faster.
