Well,
Looks like we had another power problem in the cabinet today, we are moving services from CA to Houston. It will take a couple weeks to get everything moved but the new server has arrived. The new DC (Datacenter) will be local to me and very close to Kyle (3 hours). The problem today is the fact that the switch itself appears not to be on a bad power strip or someone was yet again in the cabinet messing up stuff. It's very frustrating and I'm just as frustrated as everyone else is.
The logs below show a couple problems:
- switch power was cycled off and on (more than likely the issue)
- bad cables (we replaced them today)
- someone in cabinet again (investigation ongoing)
