Don't believe everything you hear. Not everyone has the time and effort to research before they speak.

I hope this helps:

2008 G37 Base: 3616
2007 350Z Base: 3339

2008 G37 6MT Sport: 3668
2007 350Z Tour/Grand: 3404

If I do my math correctly, 277 LBS and 264 LBS difference.

FYI: Just to let you know how weight has been increasing after every year, including both Z & G:

2003 G35 Sedan: 3336
2005 350Z Enthusiast: 3198

Thats a 138 lb difference between the two, but the difference between the 2003 G35 Sedan to the 2007 G35 sedan is about 200lb; the difference between the 2003 G35 Coupe to the 2006 G35 coupe is about 110lb; and the difference between the 2003 350Z with the 2007 350Z (higher end models) is nearly 200lbs.

I drove the G37 on a closed test drive. They had me drive that then the 07 then the g37 again, even though its heavier it took off faster and cornered better than the g35.

So the G is getting closer to a 'sports' car. It's great how paper racers always have something to say about a car. Anyhow i'll stick with my cruiser G. When its time to upgrade to a sports car i will, for the weekends

Your ignorance is getting in the way of facts. Theirs a difference between what you consider, and what it really is.

Im really trying to say this as nice as possible, because the last thing I want to do in a forum is argue, which always leads nowhere.

Im sorry all you love to do is cruise. Maybe you should upgrade to a convertible instead? Convertibles are a great for cruisers.

Im not saying the G35 is a performance oriented sports car, but its still a Luxury Sports car.

May I ask you, why exactly do you not consider the G35 a luxury sports coupe/sedan?

Look everywhere else besides your opinion, and the G35 IS classified as a Luxury Sports car.

For the $$$, I'll stick with my '06. More aftermarket support and a better looking car IMHO.

Sadly, it won't.

The 3.7 liter VQ35VHR has a higher compression ratio, which doesnt help for NA or FI.

But hey, the stock power seems like a great start for anyone. If only it weighed less
