I called the G37 ugly as well but if some rims can turn this vehicle into the picture here; sign me up because I am about to figure out how to buy one. Besides for those of us that only want to get on it when passing, on the intersection, or riding through the mountains, there is plenty of power present. For those that track your car you are not included obviously but for everyone else there is power beyond what you can use on any Z from the last generation on up.

Not really. If you notice, many of my posts regarding other vehicles aside from the 350Z are defensive posts against ignorant statements. I defend any car that is bashed on with ignorance; so far, I've defended the G37, Corvette, M3, S2000 and many other respectable cars from ignorant & arrogant statements

Again, saying "G isn't faster than Z" doesn't mean anything, because you are comparing old Z to new G.

lol...still dont get it huh. all im saying is, from the numbers i've seen the 07 z is still faster than the g37. now are they pretty damn close??? yes, but still behind. That beiong said, i think the car looks great and i may be in the market for one.

Either way I am very excited to see the future of the Z, and I'm happy with my 06 until I see what next gen z is going to be doing.

you're an idiot. The G35 is the skyline in Japan, which have always, even in their GT-S trim, been faster than the Z of the time (except for this FM platform thing lol). the 13.9 1/4 mile is the auto one, not the manual one. Don't be mad cause you couldn't afford the better Z on the market. I can't view the video at work, but the G37 will definitely outperform in ever aspect, the current Z.

p.s. the estimated 0-60 for the g37 is 5.2 seconds (mt.). The current Z is 5.7-5.8 seconds (mt). The AUTOMATIC G37's 1/4 mile time is 13.9, while the current Z's (mt) 1/4 mile time is 14.2 seconds. The new G will walk all over the current Z not to mention it is over 300 lbs heavier and nicer. Wait for the new Z to come out then start talking ****.

I was basing those numbers off what car and driver and road and track had on their site. show me where i'm wrong chief? Car and Driver does have the 07 Z going from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, but I haven't seen actual 0-60 numbers yet for the G37 to compare.

notice how the G37 had a faster slalom time of 71.3mph vs. the BMW's 69.5 mph...but they still give the win to the bimmer and say it's more of a drivers car, even though it trapped a slower slalom time and has fewer options and cost $3,800 more.
