PROJECT : BUILT VH45DE TT on a G coupe
I've been fitting the tranny up to the motor. The adapter plate needed some modification as well as the block so I cut a chunk off the block so the starter can clear. Pics coming soon.

Here's a look at what had to be done in order for he VG starter to clear the Transmission adapter plate and the VH block.
I used one of the spare blocks to do some initial test cutting and grinding.

Here's what I did to the actual block. I ended up taking a big chunk off since the excess material served absolutley no purpose. There were no dowel pins or harness points in the way. Now, my next concern is how only half of the tranny bolts up to the block. I want to make two brackets that come from the side of the block and bolt to the bottom of the transmission.
