Default BBB and I against Infiniti/Nissan and WON!

This is a very long long story but Ill shorten it for you guys. BTW I have an 11/02 g35 coupe that has now had 3 differnt engines, 2 transmissions, new rack and pinion, new seat leather (driver), new seat foam in both seats, new clutch pedals, rattling rear view that they wont fix and tire feathering!

My engine was replaced because it was burning 2+ quarts per 3k by Riverside Infiniti, CA. The engine they put in seized at 300 miles lol...Im not mad at this point! Another engine is put in, and they tell me my warranty is 12 months or 12k miles...I say no. They hit me back with if you pay $2400 well cover it to 100k, i say you guys should cover that for me with no charge. Im am still civil at this point and say Ill get that warranty one way or another.

Basically after 6 weeks of Infiniti trying to come up with a decision and then just say NO (BASICALLY F OFF), I called the BBB and Infiniti responded in 1 week with:

AN EXTRA 4 YEARS OF DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY TO 2012 OR 48,000 MILES AT NO CHARGE STARTING TODAY 2/1/08!

Im not happy just not worried not, I love how Infinit/Nissan thinks a warranty does anything for a customer other than not give them a headache. ALL A WARRANTY DOES IT MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT THEY MADE WORKS AS ITS INTENDED, they acted like I asked for $1,000,000 or something.

The BBB works guys, great organization to deal with...they actually cared and they didnt make a single cent off me unlike Infiniti and the 40k for the top of the line car.

Right, thats exactly what I thought, unfortunately they don't stray far from nissan roots. I've gone through so many issues with lynnes infiniti in bloomfield , nj.

Congrats on the warranty. BBB FTW

Congrats on your win. Nice to know it's not a complete pipe dream on extending warranty after VQ replacement from OC issues.
