Chose the Z over G simply cause i wanted a 2 seater. Hate it when someone is sitting behind me....ruining my pimp lean.

+1 same exact reason. I was set on getting the Z but then no back seats and in case of emergency, there is at least 4 people at the house 90% percent of the time, so if anything happens and I can't get them out of there with only one extra seat lol

Having a coupe with 4 seats doesn't have to mean they all have to be in use

I can't remember the last time someone was back there.

As for me, it wouldn't have mattered to me if the G was a 2 seater of the Z was a 4 seater... my decision wasn't based off of that.

I'm assuming you drive a sedan, because the G35 Coupe has the same amount of support in aftermarket parts of the Z. The sedan is somewhat limited in some aftermarket areas not related to the engine itself.

Default Been there....done that!

I've had two Z cars, the first was a highly modified '76 280Z back then and
my second was my '92 300ZXTT in pearl cherry. All my mods were done with
the help of mag articles/adds prior to P/Cs....intakes, exhausts and suspension upgrades. I put 125K miles on both cars and loved every mile!
Only driving a G35 because I needed a back seat for the kids....that's my
wifes suggestion....HAHA

When I was shopping all I cared about was a Z... People would tell me to get a G and I was grossed out by the idea. At some point while test driving and looking I drove a Gc and loved the way it drove... a lot more like the Z than I was expecting. I started thinking practically... and then I bought one. I LOVE MY CAR and hope to always have it, but still get a little jealous when I see Z's riding around. But if I were to trade I would get jealous every time I saw a Gc driving around... albeit a lot less often. The only thing is I wish the G35c was called something else because I really don't like g35's and don't like them being considered one in the same, just two different versions of the same car.

+1 i feel that way sometimes. I think the G is behind the Z shadow so much. Everything about the G is compared to the Z. Nissan did a good job to seperate the 2 with the new G37. Now the G can be said as a true skyline and not a skyline but fairlady wannabe

The Z is only, on average, 02-03 tenths quicker to the 1/4 mile and 1-1.5 mph at the 1/4 mile. The G isn't very quick, but so isn't the Z.

07+ Z's & 07+ G35 Sedans/G37's are significantly quicker though. And the same applies regarding their differences as the 1st generation G's/Z's.

PS. Triji is forced induction...

I have a 2006 g35 coupe and a 2003 Track Z, I first had the G35 coupe, which I like a lot, Then I got the Z which I also like a lot. but if I had to choose between the two I would take the G35. Seeing that I don't race, the G35 is all most as good as the z in every category (handling, braking and acceleration). In my opion the G35 looks way better then the Z. In fact the first time I saw a G35, I was speechless. I have not felt that way since I saw the 300zx for the firs time in 1990. I also have a 1993 300zx that I have cleaned up that I like better then the G35 or the 350Z. My real complain with the 350z as much as I do like it, seem to me it is not very well made. The interior seems very cheap, where as the G35 seems to be in another class. I have had several problems with the Z, where I have not had any with the G35.
