Hey all, my cousin has a 02' s2000... well him and i recently took some pictures of our cars. Well he went home and uploaded them to S2ki.com (i think that is the site). Anyways when they all saw the pictures on the s2k forum, they said things like the VQ is a crappy engine, the g35 and the 350z are pigs. That they have no technology inside.

I can't stand trash talking, and it isn't cool that the people on this forum respect the s2k, and they just trash talk our cars... i guess an out dated f series v-tec engine is way more advanced then a VQ....hehe not!!

 

Dude that's not cool. I hang out with a number of S2000 guys and they have nothing but respect. BTW, you're from Fresno? Cool, me too.

 

Sorry to post off-topic, but I was wondering how that weather if affecting you guys down there. Man, it is hotter than a **** out here in the SF Bay... and I know it is crazy hot in Fresno on normal weather Bay days...

Thats sweet.... no i didnt mean to say **CK all s2k owners... just that most of them i seen and talk to can be some cocky jerks, and some of them love to bad mouth us VQ owners! But yea dude, some are really cool, i just had to vent with fellow VQ'ers... but what part of fresno u from??? But i do respect the s2k....my own blood drives one.

 

MAN.... fresno is hot!! i hate this city, atleast in SF, u guys get a cool ocean breeze.... but its nothing but hot air here!

Yeah the weather's pretty freakin' hot. Especailly having a CAI, I notice that the car performs better during the evening when it gets that cooler, denser air.

yeah the vq is crappy ..lol... i guess that is why every magazine is raving that it is the best v6 engine to date ??

Uh schoolzin... i think i have seen ur Z...and its beautiful... as for me i dont own a Z... i own a g35 mt coupe...its desert platinum, with brembo brakes...um and bone stock! I dont even have my lic. plates yet. Um i am always driving up and down on first and herndon. The only time i go west of blackstone is to give my mom rides to work when she needs it... She is a teacher on shaw and brawley..and plus i am always up and down herndon as well.

I can't really say i know all those dudes... I know like 3 dudes in cali with S2k, 2 in fresno and one from san jo. but no others... my cousin owns a s2k, he had nothing really major just intake, and apex exhaust. and slamed. but is brain lum's s2k silver, with side skirts?

 

Brian's is silver, but no side skirts. He is supercharged though. Hey, if you're interested in SCCA autocrossing, there is an event down at Castle (Atwater) this Sunday. It's a good group of people.

I've been on s2ki.com for a long time, and from what I've seen the 350Z gets plenty of respect it deserves.

Of course you'll always have a few fanboys who have to diss everything else on the road, but it's like that on any car forum.

 

You know, what i dont have the exact thread, but i will ask my cousin for the thread.... i will have posted shortly.. but yea there are some cool people that respect the other sport cars on the road, then there are the ignorant ones that need to talk trash....i posted this post just to vent on the morons out there that need to put down other cars, so they feel theirs are better... i didnt mean that ALL s2k owners are **** talkers...cuz there are a lot of cool ones out there....peace

 

S2000 owners love the G35. I've been on the board for quite a while also and I use the forums everyday, and I have not seen ONE thread with a S2000 + G35 and someone posting crap about the G35.

I've read mostly positive comments about the G35 on S2Ki, and I love it myself. Why did I wander over to this forum? Just trying to learn more about the cars on my list of potential future S2000 replacements!

 

I don't see any pics, and I don't see anything about an S2000 driver racing his cousins G35... and the people who said the VQ was stinkin' was because they are obviously biased and talk out of their butt. So I don't know what you were talking about in your first post, but, whatever.

 

Hey there is more... my cousin told me he posted the pics, but i didnt find them either....but who ever said something about racing my g against my cousin's s2k??? Where TF did u get that from?? And i will find the rest of it... So just calm down, I LOVE THE S2000....i just had to vent, when i first heard... the whole reason for the post was that, people on my350z.com are more respectble then SOME of the people on s2ki.com....SOME...so lets all get a long!
