My recommendation.
Under $500
tein s-tech springs $167 shipped
wheel spacers $150
install exhaust $0
sport grill $69 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/jdm-infiniti-g-g35-03-07-coupe-sport-mesh-grill-grille_w0qqitemz230350305832qqcmdzviewitemqqptzmotors_car_tr uck_parts_accessories?hash=item35a1f2ba28&_trksid=p4506.c0.m 245&_trkparms=65%3a12|39%3a1|72%3a1171
pull out headlights, diy mod. Satin black all but the projectors, replace cracked cover with a new one, i am sure you can find one. Do not smoke the lighting surface youll regret it.

If you want to change the wheels, pull them off and have them powdercoated, still the stock look is very clean.

Next i would recommend a carbon front lip such as the seibon vs, then finish it out with a nice carbon trunk, master grade looks sick.
By then i would be looking for some enkeis on the cheap end or work for the middle grade or volk etc for $$ wheels & tires.

bingo

i don't think painting the headlights is rice, assuming he opens the headlights up and paints them. Tinting the headlights would be rice.

Quit thinking cheap. You may have gotten the car for cheap, but it ain't a cheap car. But you don't have to spend 2 grand on a set of good wheels though. Just remember to keep your mods clean & basic at first.

Get some 22 inch chrome spinners, 5% tint on EVERYTHING, smoked taillights, drop it and get some hydrolics installed, then get the sickest Alpine system available installed, buy some FUBU clothes, and then keep a blunt and a 9mm on you at all times. Then you're set!!!

That's what I'd do.

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default This is what you do.......

!.) Install exhaust

2.) Rims/ Tires (Good offsets only please)

3.) Roll fenders (If applicable, dont know much about G's)

4.) Suspension (Eibach Sportline Springs and D-Spec shocks)

5.) Install CF Hood previously purchased (Do not paint match, it weighs the same as stock hood/ so your paying money twice to have something that looks the same)

6.) Install the smoke to the tail lights

7.) Turbo, etc...

It's always going to be rice. Unless you trade it for a GTR spec G35. Wait, would this be a skyline gt-r or GT-R only GTR or double GGT-R35? Anyway get to posting yours on autotrader. GTR JDM 2020 Only real type ish OR RICE!!

P.S. Don't worry so much. Just put the CF hood on since you bought it first it'll look fine on a stock car. Then buy some springs or coils so it won't have 4X4 status. Wheels next, then whatever you want. Remember there will always be people who think you have a boy-racer car just for having a g35.

^ I just mean that some ppl are likely to think anyone who owns a japanese economy or performance car is a ricer unless you blow their doors off. Everyone shouldn't worry so much about if people think their car is rice. You should do what you want.

I personally wouldn't put a carbon fiber hood on before aftermarket wheels and a drop. Except you have damage on your stock hood so I don't think it's too bad to put it on first. Plus your car is black so it's more subtle.
Oh yeah. I agree that painted (stock) wheels and tinted lenses = rice.

Look at my join date. I bought this car 3 years ago. I did not get it for cheap.

Oh lol ok.... I got a little confused for a second. I know that lots of kids are starting to be able to afford older G35's now but I did not think it was THAT bad yet lol

Paint your grille black, debadge, slam it then start deciding on wheels.

Then do a Z-tube, MD plenum spacer etc.

If you want to save on headlight overlays just pop your headlights open and paint the inside, looks WAAAY better in my opinion.
