Default Black Grille on G35c

Have yall ever seen a G35c with a black grille? I know this is a super crappy "windows paint" job but it still looks pretty nice to me. Gives it a more aggressive look. What do yall think?

If you like the look of a black grille I'd suggest looking into a Gialla grill to replace the factory.

Most people buy them from Teiwa http://www.teiwa.co.jp/indexbackup.html

That Gialla grill in the pic.... anyone know if thats made out of plastic or Fiberglass?

also... what kind of mesh is on it. is it metal or does it resamblem more of the front bumper look.

I'm currently trying to do research on how to do my own grill but to match the mesh on the front lower bumper.

Agh! $281 for this piece from the site. I can only imagine how much shipping would be. I might just try to make one myself or find it from somewhere else. Perhaps I could get the stock grille re-chromed im the black chrome color. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks for the link, though. I now know that the grille exists somewhere else besides my imagination!

It says ABS on the site so that is plastic I would imagine.

ah.. the gialla gives off the audi german look.. i like it, but it looks a bit too sporty imo.. I've seen a few black mbz clk's around, and these owners just paint the grill except the insignia with the factory black paint. It looks quite good.. sporty, yet a bit of luxury.

whatever floats ya' boat.

Painting the stock grille is Ok, but you have to sand off all of the chrome or the paint is going to flake off real quick.

I don't have a picture, but I can tell you the mesh on the grill is much smaller than the lower openings. However the mesh for the grill is easily removed and can be used as a template for a larger mesh like the lower grilles. I have found mesh similar to the grill mesh and will be replacing the lower grill mesh.

So something like this? Can someone with Photoshop do a better job than this? Preferably on a black G35c and a more straight on shot. This looks EXCELLENT in my opinion. Wow!
