Default radio reception

Im posting here because g35driver is basically useless.

Im not one to start a thread. Ive done much searching and maybe im not searching the right key words but I havent come up with anything. My G is 2007 coupe with 70k on it (premium package and nav) and Ive had it since new. I have read about what tints can do but I got the tints 68,000 miles ago. With in the past 2 weeks the radio reception has been awful. Some station will be fuzzy and some wont even come in sometimes. How should I troubleshoot this problem? Where should I start?

There's not a whole lot that can be causing issues. What antenna are you running?

They could have, but I'm going to assume it's your antenna amp aka antenna booster.

On your left side (Drivers side for us in the USA), pull the plastics off the trunk area. There's a box labeled Clarion. See if it's getting power. It should have power when the key is on. If it's getting power, then check antenna connections.

Assuming your interior has never been torn apart, I don't think anything would be pinching the wire so there's really only the connection @ the antenna, the connection at the antenna amp, and connection at the radio in the dash.

Is this down by where the bose amp is? or on the trunk lid plastic?
