I'll be posting pics of the Smoke Reverse Overlay this weekend.

well folks, as promised here they are. please forgive the quality of the pictures, especially the last one .

1. i was by myself (feel free to send me money if you feel sorry for me already)
2. the car was in reverse w/ the e-brake on (big no-no)
3. i just didn't want to wait too long to see how long that e-brake would hold

oh, i'm pretty sure most of you have accounts at imagestation. if not, well it's about damn time.

forgot to mention, i originally had piaa super plasma bulbs installed in the clearance lights (matched really well with the hids and catz).

well, after getting the overlays, they didn't match up so nicely anymore. but i think the orange is trendy also, no? i've tried the piaas in the bumpers but decided against them when i got my clears, because after doing the signal light mod, it looked weird with the bumper and headlight signal flashing different colors.

if you want to see these overlays in person, i'm going to the san diego meet on the 15th that mr. bat has cordially invited all of us to. so hope to see some of you guys there.

Were your sidemarkers clear or was it orange before adding on the layouts. What color bulb or what kinda bulb are you using for your clearance lights? thanks

sorry about the incoherency.

before the overlays: i had piaa super plasma wedge bulbs in my clearance and the amber bulbs that came with my clears.

after the overlays: went to kragen and purchased some amber wedge bulbs to stick in the clearance lights, so everything would match up better.

conclusion: piaas and overlays don't mix. sorry, but true. the piaas look dull and grey with the overlays on. but i like the product and these are staying on. again great work bat.

oh yeah, if you go to bat's first post, you can see the color bulbs in both my clearance and bumper (pre-overlay).

about the turn signal overlays, will it also overlay the hi beam section of the head lights too? I just want the overlay to sit on the turnsignal and nothing more

I don't have a full smoke Overlay for the back at this time, perhaps in the future.

Are these basically a vinyl sticker that you put on the outside of the lights?

Doesn't surprise me. I get emails from people who've had my Overlays on for over 2 years with no peeling or fading whatsoever! Glad they're holding up.

Yes, they are applied to the outside of the headlamp.
