A friend of mine is interested in doing some modifications to his G35. I know there are the common mods like exhaust and cold air kits, but what are the top 5 most effective mods for the G35. Is it possible to get into the 12s with just bolt on modifications? I am familiar with Fords and Chevy but don’t know a whole lot about the G35/350z. Thanks for the help.

 

getting into the 12s? probably not going to get there with just bolt-ons. However, with every possible bolt-on (intake, exhaust. headers, flywheel, pulleys, plenum, grounding kit, cats/testpipes) you may be able to have a daily driven car in the mid 13's. Only way to get into the 12's is with a blower.

It sure is, however I think he is going to start with smaller things exhaust, intake. What are you guys seeing the bigist gains with, headers, cat back exhaust, intake, pulleys?

2. Cat Back Exhaust
3. UR Pulley
4. Intake Plenum
5. High-Flow Cat

That should get you into mid to high 13's (for G35c that is)

2.Crawford high flow cats
3.Stillen exhaust
4.Nismo cams
5.UR crank pulley
