Default Coupe rear spoiler - can't decide

Do I go with a rear spoiler on the 6MT coupe? My original car choice of diamond graphite/graphite leather no spoiler is nowhere to be found. I have a choice of silver/graphite with or without spoiler. I just can't decide. I originally was not going with a spoiler. It is starting to grow on me. Decisions! Decisions! Why can't life be simple? I had an Eclipse with a large spoiler. The spoiler on the G actually does not look bad. I just don't know.

No spoiler for me at first...added the impul lip spoiler though since it's very subtle

Default Paint match?

Is there any problem with paint match? I may be going with silver rather than diamond graphite.

I hate the spoiler. Looks much cleaner without it!

In my opinion, the spoiler is a must have, it makes the car! As far as color, the G looks much better in the darker graphite. The silver is rather plain looking, especially sans spoiler. But truth be told, the G looks best in black with the spoiler!

I love the silver without the spoiler:

but I am sure it would look better in the darker graphite!

go for the spoiler. car looks like its missing something without it. I do think silver is a rather bland color as well (even though i have it) but get black and you'll cry every time you see swirl marks. silver stays clean even when you don't wash it.

What about an after market spoiler rather than the Infiniti spoiler - most are not as large as the Infiniti spoiler - although I would worry about a paint match.

My opinion, definately go with the spoiler. Gives it a more "sporty" look.

Default Went with the spoiler.

The dealer found a diamond graphite/graphite leather 6MT that has the spoiler so I grabbed it. Should have it Friday 4/16. I've actually gotten to like the factory spoiler ( I didn't at first) - I like having the center brake light in the spoiler - gives it more of a finished look.

I just bought a 6MT Diamond Graphite/Graphite sans spoiler, picked it up today. First day learning to drive a clutch too...and it's also the first day I am 25. A lot of firsts. = ) all good though...

1) Coefficient of drag is 0.29 without the spoiler, and 0.28 with.

2) Greater downforce on the rear wheels with the spoiler means high-speed stability is significantly better with it than without.

Therefore, if performance matters more than cosmetics, the spoiler should be a no-brainer.

Definately go with the spoiler it looks great! I might buy a G35 instead of the Z and I like that spoiler.

I love the spoiler on mine. IMHO, it looks like too much of a family car with out it.
