I was driving down sunset today and all of a sudden my exhaust got so f'ing loud, I knew there had to be something wrong. And when I put the car up on the ghetto jack I found that the midpipe with the resonator on it came completely off of the flange. Im talkin' no weld left whatsoever. I will remedy this problem tomorrow and see if it requires returning. (Luckily I know how to weld.) If it doesn't work, I will let you know how the injen customer service is.
Another problem I have been having is that sice I have had my injen ses(about 2 weeks) I have been getting millions of microscopic metal flakes sticking to my bumper(prob due to static electricity on plastic). My question is; is this normal and will it end? I figured it was something blowing out of the new resonators but I am not sure. Any info or past experience on this matter would help a lot.

I took the pipe off today to check it out and I figured out why it broke. THEY NEVER WELDED IT!!!! I cant believe I didn't catch it when I installed it but they tack welded it 3 times and forgot to weld the pipe up. I am going to complain to injen and see what they say.
just a possible explanation for the static? exhaust gases rushing through the pipes would cause static buildup right? i dunno just thinking out loud to explain your buildup
