Anyone have any smart ideas on cell phone holders for the car? I hate it when I have to shift and the phone starts ringing. I was thinking of getting one of those AC clips, but I don't like how it will block the AC vent. Plus, it's kind of hard to place a cell phone holder anywhere because of the Navi.

Just curious how long you have been driving a MT tranny for? I too hated holding a cell phone when I started driving manual, but now it's second nature. I don't even really have to think about what I am doing, very simple.

i saw those 2 way adjustable suction cup things they use on the edge products that tune diesel engines...u can buy those and stick it right by your a pillar

 

Try www.panavise.com, They have one for the G35 and 350z. I think the G35 can only have one w/ out the nav. But I am sure there is a way around that. i have one for my Qx4 and had one for my S2000

 

i just used an ear bud when I first got the car (my first MT so I needed both hands) and put on the ear bud and set the cell phone in the little storage spot in the center console.

But now, I just useit and go and dont think much about it.

I must say though that I try to not use my phone when I am driving. Too many idiots out there who cant drive and I need to pay attention to protect my baby G(35)irl

 

Thing is, I have a speaker phone on my cell so i want to mount it somewhere so my voice is directed straight at the phone. I just bought one of those things that attach to the AC vent, but it blocks the air from coming out and the cell phone always makes the vent point downwards due to the weight.
Oh well, I guess I'll just be responsible and not answer the phone when driving.
