Default Would You Buy A Buyback?

i posted this on the g35driver board also to get their take but i wanted more opinions. sorry for the double post if your a visitor of these two boards.
hey people i found a 03 g35 sedan. it has 22k miles and asking price of 25k. only problem is it is a buyback. the lemon law was invoked on it for brakes and the dealer bought it back. then the dealer used it for 7k miles and then auctioned it off. now a small private dealer is looking to sell it. it has the sport package and the factory bodykit. i drove it and it runs very smooth, but who knows it was the first g35 i drove. need some advice on what i should do. if i was going to buy the car what is a good price. any input would be much appreciated, thanks

probably a disgruntled owner who wanted to find a reason for dumping the car. there are buybacks for people who don't like orange peel on their paint finish. i say that car is fine. just get a history of the repairs done to it. ( if possible)

not a chance.......

i'll take the bus.........

but seriously, DO YOUR HOMEWORK if you MUST spend 4-5 years of payments on a legally defective auto (that your are gonna hold to a higher expectation than it is capable of)

i have been thru the lemon law wars before.....

there's SO many variables to this, i dont know where you'd like me to begin....

anyway, have you though anymore about this??

i have thought about this and i plan on NOT financing and buying the car outright IF i buy it.
the only way i would even consider plopping down the money is if i got a helluva deal on the car like around 20. but it looks like that won't happen so its really not a good deal. you are right about the lemon law variables. there is too much at stake and i would not touch the car for what the dealer is asking.
