yes thats what is missing, the gel coating, as for the flaking it is just a thin layer of primer, probably not think enough cause it flaked off when i touch it. im probably going to do somemods to it myself to see if i can keep the front plates off it as well.

just more work for the bodyshop, so take it to someone who does quality work

That flaking has nothing to do with the quality of the materials. It is overspray of gelcoat. You ahve to put it on in ODD applications and that means extra got on there..quick clean off will fix that, I have gotten 2 PM's not about great fits and looks!

well it took nearly 2 and 1/2 weeks to get here, but the guy called me this morning to say it was being delivered sometime today. the car is sitting at the body shop waiting and the guy said he gets the kit by tonight he can have it on and painted by next thursday.

i'll cross my fingers, but things have taken longer than expected already.

It would be nice to know - as you have had our cash since June 10th with NO responses to PM's - I need to know today - if this kit is shipping, when it will ship and when it will arrive - I want the kit, but, not willing to lose 900.00 to the dark hole..... All remaining orders are being boxed and shipped as I get them.I am trying to get the last 3 today. I am being as picky as I can for you and me. The cracking 2nd gel coat was an issue I told them to fix just for looks so it slowed things down.

I asked for anyone that needed info to email me not post up, I cannot post TR#'s online as someone can call them in and reroute your boxes.

IF you look at the clock, we are at the 6 week barrier and I warned everyone that it was 4-6 weeks worse case for great results.

We do not do crappy kits so I will not cut corners, you'll appreciate that later.

I appreciate that - and, apologize, I was just getting a little freaked by the no response - I will post pics as soon as I get them - mine is on track to arrive in Raleigh on 8.6.04 - I already have the appt at the body shop for the same week.
