So I just got my car back yesterday from the dealer. Let me first say that the dealer did a GREAT GREAT job!!! I got a loaner car for a week. The dealership changed my brake pads and rotors under the brake warranty, changed my oil, did the 22,500 service, fixed all my squeaks, rattles, tightened up some bolts and even replaced the heating element on the passenger seat (I have yet to check it though). Thanks to Jeff Tanner and his team at Passport Infiniti in VA! Now to the problem...everything was cool on the drive home and everything was cool on the drive to work this morning...at least I think it was.

I get in my car today to leave work and I notice that the seatbelt buckle wouldn't move after I buckled the seatbelt. I went to move it and I heard this kind of crack sound. I inspected the buckle and everything seemed okay, the buckle moved freely once again and I was just about to go when I saw that the seatbelt not fastened indicator was lit...even though I had my seatbelt buckled!

Like I said, I didn't notice anything yesterday or this morning and on the drive home, everytime I looked at the dash I noticed it. Could I have broken the sensor inside? I jiggled the buckle, unbuckled and buckled it, everything I could think of and nothing...it just stays on. I guess I'll have to have Passport look at it again the next time I take it to them for service.
