help with pulley belts !
Well,
I just came back from the dealer today.I had them check my pulley belts. After my crank pulley and NEW belts install, they started making a whistling sound,so I told them to check it out. Well the dealer said that I need new ones b/c the ones I had were used up. So now I need to order other ones !
Is this normal after only 1500 miles ?
Should I keep the pulley on or put back the stock one?
What should I do ?

It is not very likely, but in the case that the belts were to tight when the pulley was first installed, the belts could be stretched out. If that is what the tech said, it wouldn't hurt to buy another set of belts anyways just to check it out; they are cheap. Plus it is always good to have an extra set of belts on hand.
