Default Gialla grill test fitting *pics*

I wanted to see if the grill infact made the car look sportier and I must say Im very happy with the results.

Im thinking of what can I do instead of just painting the grill the same color of the car thats just too boring.

also whats a nice looking front lip for the car Im really leaning towards the OEM lip

oh and I got my center caps today

Looks good, but I still like the stock grill best.

Get the OEM front lip. Really compliments the front bumper really nicely.

You can see a bunch of pics of the OEM lip on my DG at the following link:

I think it depends on what color the car is. I really like them on black and white G's. They pretty much look good on all of them but I think they do look better on some colors than other.

lou350: Can you take some side shots of the gialla grill? Thanks.

How much lower is the OEM lip spoiler than the original OEM bumper. I lowered my G with Eibachs and I really can't afford to go much lower....

Guys I only test fitted the grill I still havent painted it the same color of the car which will make it blend in much better also Im thinking of painting the mesh a nice titanium color to contrast off my Diamond graphite nicely. Believe me once Im done it will look HOT !!!

Im going for a totally race car look so for me its perfect. The stock grill is nice but its made for a luxury look not RAW enough.

to each is own

It doesn't sit much lower at all, but it does stick out a little further though which could affect driving up steep inclines.

beautiful car by the way

and yes the grill comes with a black insert mesh grill. I was thinking of painting it a nice titanium gunmetal color to blend with my Diamond graphite. The black mesh insert makes it look like there is a whole there...but even still looks very nice IMHO

yes, when i get my grll, i'm going to paint the mesh part with darker shades...probably black or dark gray....it'll make it look more aggressive for sure.

Honestly, if you wanted a race car look you shoulda started with a Z instead of basically raping a luxury sports coupe. =\

Even with those wheels and that grille it still looks like a luxury car, just one that got stripped for parts. It's simply in the design of the body - the smoothly sculpted lines where the Z is more angled and aggressive - etc, that makes it a "softer" car that simply changing parts isn't going to completely remove that softer character from it.

i used to like the gialla grill, but upon looking into it further, it DOES look like a stock civic grill (sans the mesh insert of course).
