Default Clutch Release at the dragstrip

Hi,

I went to the dragstrip for the first time with my car (6MT G35) over the weekend. I managed to do several 14.1x to 14.2x @ 98-100mph. My car is still stock, short of a K&N drop-in and Z-Tube.

On one of my runs, when I launched, the clutch did not realease fully until after the 60 foot mark. Why is this? It was the first time that I noticed it. Any idea?

Thanks!

Maybe it was too hot?? What rpm were you launching at?

Good runs btw.

Too hot? Maybe... I think it only did it once... I was launching at about 2000rpm. Almost no spin, traction was pretty good...
