Default Considering trading in 2003.5 G35C...

I'm thinking about trading in my 2003.5 Laser Red 5AT G35 Coupe with all options except aero, black interior, and ~9200 miles. It has been perfectly maintained (at some point I was doing Zaino applications every ~90 miles) except for repairable scuffs on 2 of the wheels. The car has never been driven in winter or in track/racing conditions. It has always been properly garaged and has seen rain only on 6 occasions. It is stock except for a grounding kit and Valentine One radar detector.

How much do you think I could get for it? Has anyone traded in a G35C with similar attributes recently?

If you trade it to the dealer you bought it from you should get at least Kelly BB price. Keep in mind that in order to get the highest Kbb price your car will have to be deemed Excellent condition by the dealer. I know that Carmax uses Kbb prices exclusively when factoring trade.

Hope this helps.

I paid 29,300 for my used 2003.5 6MT G35c, with all options except navi. It had 10,200 miles on it when I picked it up. The sticker price was 29,900.

The previous owner must have traded it in for around $27K. That seems really low, considering that these cars supposedly hold their value well. What was the vehicle's history?

Yeah I thought it was low too considering the KBB was higher. The history is clean, checked the car fax and maintainance records and they were both clean.

I didn't like to not have back seats, leather, sunroof, 6 speed and a trunk you could use. Plus I have ADD I get tired of cars quickly.

its kinda hard to get alot for a used car no matter what the books say, because people can just buy a new one for slightly more.
