Default Looking to buy G35 c

ive been reading into this board a bit since i am planning *possibly by a g35 hopefully haha (6MT btw)

just a few minor questions

- whats the lowest price i could expect with a 6mt navi package? and what price should i aim for?

- the rattles in the car are they fixable ones, or are they like INSIDE the dash and cant be fixed without alot of labor or are they things a little bit of sticky tack or cloth wont fix?

- how is the tranny and engine in terms of longevity, any major flaws in the transmission? like acura had a alot of messed up trannies anything like that for the g35? i plan to get 04-05, any significant problems? that arent normal wear and tear? can the tranny take some hard launches without breaking?

- could u post ur MPG and mile per tank if possible... the website says 20-26? but usually reality is much lower, yes i knnow if ur getting a g35 gas shouldnt matter but still good to know what to expect

- does the car feel like its build intuitively and everything is where it should be etc... i.e honda accord, not the best car but everything feels "right" if u know what i mean but in a suburban, all the handholds seem to be in awkward spots, the seat never feels right, everything seems thrown together.... i should be able to figure this out through a test drive but there is only so much a test drive will show u...

thankyou all very much in advanced

1. Its been 2 years since I shopped for the car so I don't know.

2. I haven't had any problems with rattles that bother me to the point to do something about it.

3. My tranny rattles a little in neutral with the clutch out after being driven hard. It was a little notchy at first but it has really loosened up and feels great know. I haven't heard about any widespread problems from launching the car hard.

4. I get about 20 mpg for daily driving (30 miles total, mainly 50 mph roads with minimal stops). I average about 25 mpg on road trips with a high of 27. If you do a lot of aggressive stop and go city driving it could be as low as 15 possibly. I think my worst tank was around 18.

5. I wouldn't say that the interior has an intuitive dash layout, mainly because most of the buttons seem to be on the wrong side of the car. It seems like it was designed for a right hand drive car and then not changed for left hand driving. However, I got used to it very quickly and I fit very comfortably in the seats. Some people complain about all the power switches being mounted to the seat and causing pain in the right leg, something you might want to pay close attention to. I am tall so I rest my left elbow on the window sill and don't use the armrest.

im only 5"10-11 ish so that doesnt matter too much
20-25 mpg is good even @ 18 its still better than the rx-8 which is a 1.3 liter LOL i was considering that car too until its HP got messed up and it has problems with mileage, i mean @ 238 hp its getting like 15-20 mpg @ best from their forum thats BAD....

i like alot of cars, but i want RWD, and IS300 is also nice but somewhat played out still considering if i am unable to get a g35 i like... thx 1nate7 for ur detailed response =)

on a side note i saw a WHITE G35 C SOOOoo clean and the sound AHHhhhhh!
