is it true that you must have aftermarket exhaust or at least b pipe to fit the outlet of the y-pipe?

I'm curious on that as well . . . I have an RSr exhaust and I don't remember what size the inlets are, but I'm fairly sure its not 3". How do we go about this?

you can either get a new mid-pipe from japtrix.com or you can just get a 3 to 2.5 in taper and have a mufflershop weld it on to your existing mid-pipe.

Anyone have an update on the status yet?

yah, i know, i was just giving options to the people who didn't want the sudden drop from the 3in outlet of the Y pipe to the 2.5 inlet of the stock and some aftermarket exhausts.

When are these pipes going to finally be shipped? I'm getting a little anxious.

For anyone interested....I'm most likely getting a new exhaust since mine was damaged and its going to be a true dual probably. So I might have one of the Gruppe-S y pipes up for sale very soon. I'd rather not ship too. Just thought i'd throw this out there though. Its a nice looking piece

Just spoke to someone at Gruppe-S and was informed that they got a shipment last Thursday and will be shipping out this week. Unfortunately it sounds like there may not be enough for everyone in the GB so some of us may have to wait another 2-3 weeks. If I don't get in on the first this shipment, I may have to cancel my order. I can't stand to wait any longer!!!!

well, patience is not my virtue because since I found out that I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks for these, I decided to cancel my order and pick up the real deal, fujitsubo y-pipe.

If you don't mind waiting they have another shipment coming in 2-3 weeks. They only got 12 last week.
