What typically is the piping diameter of aftermarket y-pipes, maybe some examples?

Might want to go to a website. hopupracing.com has a bunch of y pipes and it will list the diameters for them. They are generally around 2.5-3 inches.

 

IIRC, starts at 2.5" and ending up @ 3" for the collectors. Some Y-Pipes have 2.5" all the way. I believe Kinetix is one of them There is another Y-Pipe that has a smaller collector than the usual 3" as well, but I forgot who carried it Z1 Auto maybe

 

KINETIX IS THE ONLY COMPANY I HAVE FOUND THAT OFFERS A PERFORMANCE Y-PIPE THAT WILL BOLT UP TO FACTORY EXHAUST WHICH IS 2.5 OUTLET, MOST OF THE OTHERS ARE 3.

i have the invidia exhaust... not the new titanium, the older one. I dont even know the pipe size but lets say its 2.5, and the y pipe is 3 ", would that pose a big problem?
