Default Review: Injen Straight Tip Exhaust 1985c

Whassup everyone:

Just came back from getting my exhaust installed, and I just want to make a few comments about it.

The PROS:

Man, this thing sounds SWEET. Don't go by the online videos/sound clips, because they do the system no justice. Further, there seems to be a considerable hp gain from just bolting it on in the mid to upper RPM ranges. There seems to be a very very slight loss down low, but the sound makes up for that.

The sound has no rasp (mind you I still have stock cats) and it is very agressive. I was going to get the Greddy Evo 2, because of how loud everyone said this is. Really, it isn't that loud.

I want to confirm the fact that with the JWT popcharger and the Injen exhaust the car sounds like it's turbocharged with a quite bov. I love it so far.

CONS:

The only con so far is that it spits out blue smoke, and lots of it. It's pretty cold out in California right now but still it's damn annoying. Other than that no gripes.

A big thank you to GSC motorsport--amazing customer service and good prices. I'll have a video soon to try to show you how good it sounds. It is really a deep sounding exhaust--sounds like my friend's 300zx TT.

Thanks,

Ravi mohan

Hrmm it might just be the angle of my driveway. I'm going to back to the shop in a week anyway as per their recommendation to check for any loose bolts etc.
