Default Injen Exhaust (dyno's and pics) NOT 56k safe!!!

Just got my injen exhaust, and I've very satisfied with the looks and sound. I think the sound is NICE... it's definitely louder then stock! I couldnt go any louder, and I cant believe people dont think this is loud enough! Maybe I'm getting old.. lol Anyways, this was done at Genesis Racing and Development ( www.grdperformance.com ). I bought their slightly used injen exhaust since they just got the APS exhaust in.

Okay, Tuan did about 4 dyno runs each with the stock exhaust (no engine performance mods at all), and then an additional 4 more runs with the injen. I was happy with the gains (although minimal). We did quite a few runs because of various variables. The engine just needed time to warm up. Each run got progressively better. We talked about it and it's possible the numbers were affected by 1. not driving the car for about 2 months, and 2. winter gas. But like I said, I'm just happy I did NOT lose hp or torque as reported in some other thread. I'm sure I would have better numbers without the variables mentioned. Attached is the baseline and injen exhuast dyno's comparrisons.

I'll have better pics of the car soon....

Sweet pics--this confirms that this exhaust makes decent power N/A. Looks, sound, and hp...does it get much better?

I love it too.

Hey, congratulations on your purchase. I got the nismo exhaust this past Saturday and i'm still tripping out on the sound. I haven't dyno'd it but I do feel that the car is more responsive. I also got the CAI which adds its own effect. It lets out more of a roaring/whizzing sound as I press down on the throttle. Overall i'm very happy with the results. What are you planning on adding next?

^ thanks. Not really sure what the plan is next..... getting married next year... so it's crunch time! need to mod as much as possible in the next 12 months!! lol.. thinking about the APS single turbo with all the trimings....I would also like to upgrade my rotors. Don't really want to go with a BBK....the brembo's are fine for now.

Yeah, I was reading about BBK's and they don't seem to do much more than the Brembo's on the Track model. I have a SS Track too and would prefer to spend the money on other mods like a suspension kit and wheels. I have to first decide on what size wheel I'm going to go with. I was planning on going to 19's but i've read a lot of negative feedback from people who have made that jump. So I have to research further.
