Default Motordyne vs. AAM Plenum Spacers

The Motordyne spacer is flat while the AAM spacer is angled. Group buy prices are pretty close. Performance-wise which one is better? I'm sure there are many opinions. Any facts? It would be nice to see dyno runs on the same car just swapping out the spacers.

Talking Motordyne Plenum Spacers

Ricmalaz,

I would expect the performance numbers to be fairly similar, but then again who knows???

Suppose anything could happen after seeing the 1:1 comparison of the CV5 and the MD 1/4" spacer on Alberts G35. In time, several dynos on several different cars should reliably answer the question.

I'm sure any plenum mod will be alot better than stock though. =)

Now for a shamless plug!

I think this question has been discussed alot recently. In fact if you look on this page there are probably 3 threads that have detailed information on the spacers.

Only way to know for sure is wait till both products are shipping and in people's hand's, then later down the road someone will have a back to back test on these using the same car, dyno, and day. But till then we wont know for sure.

I am gonna wait until people get it and test it dyno it, before I jump the gun. I remember what happened with the first kinetix plastic plenum. Everyone bought it right away, and after driving the thing would crack under stress.
