Question EVO2 exhaust problem

I just got the greddy evo2 exhaust (no instruction) the problem I'm having is that the steel lines from the fuel tank to the evap canister are hitting the muffler. I've tried to reroute the hoses to the canister but the muffler is touching one of the steel line. Do I have to cut the steel lines down and shorten I know that they included a heat wrap but even if I use the wrap the line are making constant contact with the muffler.

The mufflers don't get very hot. After driving for a while, you will be able to touch them immediately upon getting out of your car without gettign burnt - don't touch the tips though, they get hot.
what I am saying is that it is OK for the hoses to touch the muffler with the heat wrap, but if the steal lines are touching, that is another thing. What I did, is bent the steal lines upwards so they would angle straight rather than slightly downwards towards the muffler. I then went to Napa and bought a 2' hose rather than use the splicing method in the kit. My hoses now barely touch the muffler and each hose is one full piece rather than being spliced/extended. The hose will run you like $2.

So you didn't even bother with cutting and adding the hoses supplied you just replaced with new longer hoses including the vent hose. By the way thanks for the pics explains it a little better when you can see whats been done.

The smallest line I as able to use the stock hose. I was also able to use the stock hose for the bigger line running from the gas tank. This line was the line that is double lined so to speak (has a section with another hose wrapped around it In the pics it is the middle hose on the evap box). I actually cut this one about 2" to make it more taught, so it didn't hang. For the other large line running up into the cross beam I used the hose that I bought rather than extending the stock piece. In the second pic, this is the hose that has the bluish white stripe on it.

No problem. I hear ya on the weather. I live in MN, and we just got 3" of snow last night and some decently warm weather today. That adds up to lots of sloppy roads.
