Alpha Werks Headers?

i just installed these myself last week and they add a nice pull throughout the powerband from low to high end performance gains. i don't have a dyno to back it up but i can really feel the difference before and after....i also have crawford cats and fuji ti catback so i have a complete exhaust system. the reason i went ss dc sports is because i got them for 350 shipped when they were mismarked on summit....i then had them jet hot 2k coated to keep temps down in the engine bay.
if you are considering price you might want to consider what i would cost not only for the headers, but for installation (which is really a b1tch no matter which header you get if dyi), and a coating to keep the temps down. even with my jet hot 2k coating the temps have really increased....and there are lots of cabling and tubing down there that can be affected by heat
bottom line here for me if i had to do it all over again would be performance. this is a one time install considering its 400 bucks just to have them installed and if you get them coated thats even another 200. the top of the line headers are going for around 1k....add all that up and its not worth it imo....unless your hardcore going for all the power you can get na
the only reason i did this mod was because i got a screaming deal on the headers and bought two sets...reducing my costs even more
good luck

Hello,
I know that the dyno was done on Saturday. The install took just under 3 hours, which is lightening speed for a 350z thanks to our new easier to install design. I do not have the numbers because the gentleman that dyno'd the car kept all the dynos. I know he is on g35driver.com. I know he is going to post the dynos on his own at some point this week. I am also on g35driver.com, so as soon as I see the dyno's go up I will definitely give you all the link here.
Best regards,

Please keep us posted on the dyno. Also, could you email me the install instructions so I can see if it is something I should attempt myself. Btw, what kind of tools are needed for the install?

removal of a couple of brackets and moving the steering column is about all i had to do to get access to all of the bolts
be prepared for two days just in case something goes wrong, and have lots of patience....its a b!tch but its doable for the average mechanic
good luck
