I too have the Megan Racing resonated test pipes (awaiting good weather to install) but i can vouch for the quality- everything looks pretty nice; welds are pretty clean (not hardly robotic TIG, but they are pretty decent), nice thick flanges, overall i am very pleased with the looks/craftsmanship versus price. again, i have not yet installed these, so this is just my initial judgement. on another note, i too am wondering if anyone has purchased their headers for the Z- almost too good to be true!

I installed a pair this weekend out of curiosty and the fact I could get them for <$100. Note this is a comparo to the crwford HF cats I have been running for 5k miles. I also have a Borla TD and V5 plenum.

a) good appearance and fit
b) Definate kick in the pants improvement , even over HF CATs.
c) Overal a little louder than the Craw CATs and TD; however, a definate
rasp (more like a chirp) during throttle-off between 2-2.5k rpm.
d) a little more rasp under WOT , but not bad, IMO, but on the "verge of fartiness".
e) A/F is pig rich, I expect the ECU to adjust over then next ~100miles.

Personally I can't live with the rasp for long. Rasp should be non-existant with the TTs I'm installing in the next two months. I may put the craws back in in the meantime. The overall sound is a little too "ricey" for my blood (WRT Megans + Borla TD).

If you are staying NA, I would recommend another brand of resonated pipe or a quality HF CAT like Crawford.

In terms of flow, some small differences exist between the HF and resonated test pipes. Overall HP is not much different. Sound wise, the resonated version is not as raspy as the non-resonated test pipe version.
