As some of you know, I was running Crawford plenum, K&N filter-cone, and test pipes.
I just bought the WORLDS greatest deal-Nismo exhaust, DC headers-ceramic and Alloy Racing Covers header covers (~$500-600 retail), all in GREAT condititon, for $750!!!!!!
I took the test pipes off, and I was wanting to get rid of the rasp and also be legal. This proved a good move.
I have SOOOOO Much MORE low to mid end torque now. On the freeway, at just under 3000 RPMs the car pulls so much harder, it does the same right out of the hole. I really think the test pipes hurt my torque. The car still sounds loud, but not too loud and loud in a good way, more exotic. Also, for some reason, the car seems to rev quicker and more smoothly.
If you have ever thought about doing this mod, it has worked out great for me, and I recommend it.
