Default Plenum Spacer versus Upper Plenum

Hey guys, I've looked but I can't find anything comparing a spacer(AAM or Motordyne) and an upper plenum(Kinetix,Crawford, or APS). The hp numbers can support either way. Spacer's appear to add a bit more hp and are cheaper, most allow the stock engine cover and strut tower bar to be added...most, I have a friend that had fitment issues with the AAM not allowing use of the strut tower brace. The plenums themselves usually offer slots for extra injectors(I'm going F/I eventually) and some allow for stock bar/cover. Anyone else had fitment issues from the spacers? Anyone had both a spacer and the upper plenum that can compare for us?

Moved. Please post in the appropriate sub-forum.

I would say if you have an extra 100-200 to spend, get a upper plenum, otherwise the spacer will produce similar gains for a lot cheaper.
